UPDATE

Due to my #triplearthodesisfootsurgery
back in 2002, (four screws and a staple inside my left foot); as of last Monday night, I've been struggling to walk, this Monday past (two days ago - see older post), I saw my #podiatrist and got an x-ray and ultrasound done.

I've now got to rest my ankle for at least a week, so the swelling/inflammation goes down. I'm litteraly on the couch/ bed with feet up and hobbling on crutches.

Podiatrist rang back Tuesday morning (yesterday), and he is now conversing with various #orthopaedic #surgeons to work out what to do next.

Tendons and ligaments are missing (from my surgery) and inflamed. Definitely have a screw that's moved and loose inside the bone.

Hubby, once again been amazing 😍 and dinner prep is hillarious, he starts chopping..then I take over with a stool near the bench or stovetop, he can't find this or that...etc

As for other chores, he's onto it, along with my kids when they are home from school/work etc.

It was a good day because I got some answers and m $It was a good day because I got some answers and my Dr litteraly #bentoverbackwards to get me into an x-ray and ultrasound inbetween my appointment. The outcome from the ultrasound scan - ligament damage and a screw loose (not in head this time 😁🤣😂). The scanning report Dr had to come in and scan it for the sonographer and confirmed above. My Podiatrist is now waiting for the ultrasound and x-ray results; (a possible fracture was also mentioned) meanwhile he strapped my foot and will phone me back today or tomorrow. I knew something major was wrong with my foot 😭 so, now I must rest it totally once I get home (meanwhile I still need to walk to and from the train etc. #triplearthodesisfootsurgery #footinjury #nomoredancing$

Have now had to find the #crutches (luckily they had not been thrown out). I've got an appointment on Monday (Dr is not in today 😭) with my podiatrist who specialises in Musculoskeletal and Biomechanical injuries.

Hopefully by Monday, it can be walked on, as I don't want to be traveling on trains and trudging through the city with these two extra metal legs 😳 (could drive, but parking is a nightmare).

Tomorrow night, I'm attending my neices 21st on a cruise in the city as well. Do you think joggers and a cocktail dress will go together? (Heels is a bad idea) .. 😭😭😭

This time round of aches and pains is different from what I ever experienced with my #triplearthodesisfootsurgery injury. It may even require a GP specialist check-up 😭

No idea what I've done, but I really need to walk on it today, as every Thursday I cook dinner for my church parish priests; and tonight it's for 8 men (so 16 as they eat twice as much). 😁
