HOME-MADE PASTA DOUGH

Made in the bread machine

  • 220ml Water
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups Plain Flour
  • 1 cup Semolina

When I make lasagne, I always make it with fresh pasta.  I also never just make one, but several at one time and the reason why I don’t buy the instant packet lasagne sheets (I would probably need to buy out the entire shelf in the supermarket).

This recipe is a very simple one, and could also be made in a mixer.  It takes a total of 13 minutes in my bread machine.  The above amount in the photo is a double batch.

  1. Loving your homemade pasta. Can I book in for lessons ?

  2. LOL Becky; bread machines were the best invention! I like to do things that are EASY and simple, none of this mixing and making pasta directly on the bench top (with egg and liquids etc), that’s too messy and hard work. 😛
