Wonderfully Nutty Give~away!

We all go quite nutty by the end of Christmas; after all the shopping and running around prior to the big day….things slow down a little…until we realise another party is only a week away.  New Years Eve, a time to spend with either family or friends to countdown the new year!

Most people may be exhausted or too tired to think of more party preparations and food for the day or evening.  Some celebrate on the eve, others new years day; but which ever the occasion one tends to bring snacks and packets of food, rather than going all out again like one does at Christmas (am I right)?

Woman love their dips and cheese, potato chips and salsas; men on the other hand are easy with a beer in hand and a hand full of nuts (stop giggling ladies, I know your thoughts).  While I am on the subject of nuts; I have something wonderful to share with you all;

These arrived in the post yesterday and to be honest pistachios are a favourite of mine (forget the salted peanuts or cashews), it was a real treat and as for the flavour…..one word…..YUM!  The sweet chilli variety was so delicious and not too hot either (I am not a spicy foods fan), these had a little kick, yet I wanted more…I have hidden and stored the opened pack (in a Tupperware container) in my pantry, in which I will bring out on Christmas day (otherwise I will eat them all myself).
