HOME-MADE EASY SHORT CRUST PASTRY
- 200g plain flour
- 100g butter
- 40ml water
- ¼ tsp salt
Place the flour, salt and butter into a mixer, mix on MEDIUM (4 – Mix Master) setting, until mixture resembles bread crumbs.
Turn off machine, and add the water. Mix again on LOW (1 – Mix Master) setting. Dough is ready when it comes together and is not sticky. (You may need to add flour if it looks too sticky).
It can be used straight away (when rolling out, use some extra flour) or wrap in clip wrap and place in the fridge when you are ready to use.
It is so easy, you will never buy store bought pastry again!
