A Christmas Countdown

The real reason for the season is to commemorate the Birth of Jesus Christ on the 25th of Dec; so what better way to do this than an ADVENT CALENDAR!

Make a puzzle for the kids and each piece is placed on a wall or window area up until Christmas Day.

Google image, pasted into a A3 sized document and printed as tiled. Glue onto thick paper backing.

Cut out to the edges.

Evenly measured on the back, numbered and cut out.

Laminated squares and then cut into puzzle pieces.

Meanwhile, I made some “upside-down” card/envelopes,printed some numbers and glued these to the fronts.

I bet you were wondering were 25 was….look on the right!

I used a stencil cutter for a decorative finish at the top.

All stored in a Christmas coloured box (and easy to put away for next years use). The star at the back is number 25.

This is a great idea – I will have to write this one down for next year.
